The way I get guidance is a bit different and today I asked and they said, well, like we said to yesterday, get two objects and put them together. Off you go. So, I look in front of me and I selected a pen and a screwdriver. What on Earth am I supposed to do with that I hear you ask?
Let me start with the pen. I enjoy writing be it fiction or not and when I look at this I’m reminded we are the author. We are the ones who bring our journey into being and we are the ones who will encounter lots of events in our lives. We will have chapters of drama, of peace, of derring do, romance, laughter, tears and everything else in between. The author has the choices to follow and let you be the one who will build your story with all the intricacies you care to weave.
Then the screwdriver. Hmm, now a tricky one if ever I saw it (why didn’t I choose something else?) However, there are times in our lives when we need to look closely at things and sometimes have to take things apart to replace things or to tighten, loosen things up a bit. A screwdriver is a tool and this is a reminder we have an extensive toolkit right at our disposal. Let’s use that toolkit of ours and see what we can deconstruct, construct or reconstruct.
So there you are. A curious one today and if you are a bit stuck always remember there are little signs all around you that you can put to use.
